Murah Meter is not yet available. This policy describes how the app will handle your personal data under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). We will update it before launch.
What we collect
- Your mobile number, to sign you in with a one-time code.
- A nickname you choose.
- Price tag photos you take, with the time and approximate location, so we can match the price to a store.
How we use it
- To show price verdicts and price history.
- To prevent spam, fake prices and automated scraping.
- Screenshots of the app carry your nickname, a short user code, the time, and a hidden account identifier so leaked screenshots can be traced. They never show your phone number.
What we share
We may share or sell aggregated price data, such as average prices per product, store, area and week. We never sell your phone number, your identity, your photos, or a record of where you have been.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data. Contact details will be published here before launch.
